You can effortlessly create new MySQL and PostgreSQL databases and manage their settings via the phpMyAdmin and phpPgAdmin database administration tools respectively.

With the Database Manager interface, you can set up a brand new DB in seconds - simply specify its name and that's it. You will notice a list of all your databases and their corresponding sizes. You will be able to change passwords, to create database backups and to even log into the phpMyAdmin and phpPgAdmin tools.
Simple Database Backups
It is very important to make regular backups of your databases to protect your website content and to steer clear of any unexpected data loss. With the Database Manager, creating a database backup file is extremely easy. Just click on the Backup icon next to the database you wish to back up and you will be momentarily taken to the File Manager from where you can download your newly created database backup file.
MySQL and PgSQL Databases
The number of PgSQL and/or MySQL DBs that you can create differs based on the hosting package that you have selected. While MySQL is a very popular database management system utilized by 1 000 000's of users all around the world, PostgreSQL is considered a more advanced database management system and is mostly utilized by technically proficient web site owners. You can manage your MySQL databases via the phpMyAdmin tool, whereas PgSQL databases can be administered through the phpPgAdmin tool.
